LEADS

Each member is expected and required to provide at least TWO QUALIFIED LEADS PER MONTH to other members.

LEADS ARE DEFINED BY THREE CATEGORIES:

  • Your name as the lead, i.e. you personally have a particular interest in a member's products or services

  • An outside lead - not yourself - for a member's products or services

  • A guest you invite who actually attends a meeting

  • Because BWN's lead requirement is minimal, we ask that PRE-QUALIFIED LEADS be provided.

A PRE-QUALIFIED LEAD IS DEFINED AS:

  • Someone with whom you have already spoken, and who is expecting a phone call from the member to whom you are giving the lead

When giving a qualified lead, as much as possible, the following information should be provided:  

  • Name, Address, Telephone Number
  • Occupation, Family Status, Relationship to You
  • Local Neighborhood
  • Character Indicator
  • Any important or pertinent happening
  • Permission to use your name as the referral source

At the beginning of each meeting, before self-introductions, leads will be exchanged. Lead Slips are provided, and each member is responsible for completing their Lead Slips in full. The original is given to the member to whom you are providing the lead; the yellow copy is returned to the BWN Board Member responsible for lead tracking and accountability.

At the end of each month, at the conclusion of that meeting, the member who has provided the most OUTSIDE leads is acknowledged.
